QUEEN’S HEALTH SYSTEM

The Queen’s Heart Institute at The Queen’s Health System in Hawaii had an interest in refreshing content on its news & information webpage. There was an opportunity to share more resources and insights into the heart health and wellness issues affecting the community. This information needed to be relatable and easily understood by patients and prospective patients, while also including the technical details of health topics. We researched, crafted and published blog posts featuring heart healthy topics from nutrition and exercise to cardiovascular conditions. Seasonal moments were leveraged. We drew attention to the issues faced by Native Hawaiians, who are at an increased risk for heart disease. The blog posts also celebrated innovative treatments and the staff’s expertise. The client’s excitement and appreciation for the content creation led to an incremental opportunity within another department of The Queen’s Health System.
